We manage all details so you are free to enjoy this memorable day. Let us take over coordinating the arrival times with florist, DJ's, bakers, preparing your appetizing meal and arranging for all rental equipment needs. We take care of all set up, take down and clean up required by your facility.

Our services include cutting and serving your wedding cake, pouring and passing the champagne for the toast and a Captain available throughout your event to oversee the details and see to your personal needs.

All your service staff, including bartenders, are provided. We will provide the required amount of staff to properly service your event based on your requests.

Colorado Catering Company is very flexible in menu planning. We have an extensive menu for you to choose from. However, you are never limited to what is on the menu. We are masters at customizing and creating a menu just for you! Should you choose any of our packages, you may make substitutions. If you have a favorite recipe we will prepare that as well.

We offer both buffet and sit down service.  A buffet usually takes more food but costs less because there is less staff required.  A sit-down meal requires less food but more staff expenses.  Of course whichever service you choose, your choice of entrees has a great deal of impact on your final price.

Do you have anyone with special dietary needs or vegetarians? We are always prepared to meet any special needs.

What time of the day is your event? Receptions that fall between meal periods require less food and are, therefore, less expensive. We will make sure you are ordering appropriately for the time of day. Whether you are planning a meal or Hors d'oeuvres we will guide you to be certain you are ordering appropriately.

Are there children attending? Infants to four years of age are at no charge, half price for children between the ages of five and eight, and full price nine years of age and up.

Often times, your florist will provide the centerpieces for seating tables and floral arrangement for your buffet tables. If you choose, Colorado Catering Company will be happy to make these arrangements as well. We provide decorations for the buffet itself such as decorative linens, organza, tulle, silk floral garlands etc. We will coordinate our décor with your colors. If you are employing a particular theme we are happy to work with that as well.

A walk through is done with you, your venue and your caterer. At that time, a timeline will be established for all the particulars of the reception, set up time, arrival time of guests, Hors d'Oeuvres, dinner, cake cutting, champagne toast, first dance, bouquet, garter, time of last call, time DJ or entertainment will stop and what time clean up will start are all outlined.

Throughout your event, we will have a Captain present to assure your time line is followed. We coordinate announcements with the DJ as to when and where the toast will happen, the cake cutting, first dance etc. You will not need to worry about these details; the Captain will simply ask you if you are ready!

Colorado Catering Company will prepare a complete proposal for you inclusive of all charges, including service charges, delivery charges, taxes, labor and all rental equipment. We display all the information. There are no hidden charges or additional charges contingent on the event itself. This process can be completed in person or over the phone. We have successfully planned many wedding receptions via long distance, fax and e-mail.

We will prepare a proposal. Once we have an accepted proposal and have met your budget we will sign a contract securing the services of Colorado Catering Company. You are free to change your mind and revise your menu, increase or decrease your numbers, change the services that we provide. Any additional charges will be discussed at the time of the changes and/or additions are made. Weddings must be paid for in advance. Final payment is due the last business day prior to your event by 3:00 PM.

Five days prior to your event you will need to make a final guarantee. From that point forward you may increase your numbers but not drop below your guaranteed count.

Whether you are serving beer and wine, a full bar or a specialty drinks bar, we can help with all arrangements. We will provide ice, fruit, mix, cocktail napkins and glassware. These are called setups and there is a small charge for this service.

We cannot, as caterers, sell liquor but we can arrange it for you. We will guide you on amounts to properly serve your guests. We will place the order, have it delivered, provide any additional equipment and supplies the liquor store cannot provide, set up the bar and provide the bartenders to serve. We work with liquor stores that will take returns and issue a credit on all unopened bottles. This is provided as part of our service and there is no mark up by us.
